School Staff: StrengthBuilding® Essentials

This training lays the foundation for creating a StrengthBuilding environment that promotes student learning and success in your school and each classroom.  It teaches professionals to use innovative and creative interventions that assist children and families in identifying and using their strengths to achieve their goals.  In addition to StrengthBuilding®, the latest social science research and methods, such as Multiple Intelligences, Emotional Intelligence and Development Assets, are reviewed with instruction on how to apply the knowledge in daily classroom situations.

Participants:  10 to 15

Location:  on-site at your offices or a school

Includes:

  • 12 hours of training, preferably two days of six hours each scheduled during a school break; or as scheduled by school and participants when school is in session
  • Six coaching sessions, 1-1/2 hours each, scheduled over six months following training
  • Staff stipend for training during non-school hours at $60/day
  • Notebook and all curriculum materials
  • Evaluation by Sally Stevens, University of Arizona
